Property Management Rooted in Family Values

Sheryl attended Macomb Community College with a focus on Accounting. While attending college she cultivated the skill and expertise to secure a 10 year position as head bookkeeper for a major steel slitting company. During her 20 year background in professional property management, Sheryl has applied the same dedication in learning the property management industry as she did while developing her deep understanding of accounting years prior through MCC. She has completed fair housing courses, attends locally hosted Landlord forums as both guest and speaker, and continues to stay up on current trends in rental rates.

Sheryl offers 20 years of experience in property management. Starting out as a bookkeeper for Service Specialties provided her knowledge in handling the general accounting as well as working directly with the tenants. Her duties quickly flourished to the handling the accounting needs in both residential and commercial property management. During her tenure with Service Specialties, she formed a separate maintenance company to partner with the property management company which allowed her to work directly with the Landlords to ensure all of their needs were met. She held the title of VP of Operations for her last 10 years with Service Specialties and was in charge of the daily operations of both companies.

My work ethic is based upon the same standards that I have spent the last 27 years instilling in my children. Certain values like honesty, integrity and respect have always been important in both my home life and my career. My goal is to incorporate these values into my own Property Management Company. I will always be more concerned with the quality of service I am providing my landlords rather than the quantity, which is why I aim to operate with full transparency.
